01 / 10My main project
One engine. Five projects. One guide.
My main project: 174 pages and five projects for learning to build an ECS engine in C++20, with increasing difficulty and a focus on memory management.
Read the case studyI’m Laureano Cantó. I develop software in C and C++ and explore what lies behind a game: its engines, memory and possibilities.

01 / PROJECTS
The ECS guide is my main project. Alongside it, games, apps and low-level work explore different ways to turn an idea into software.

CURIOSITY AS A STARTING POINT.03 / ABOUT
And then, build something with it.
I’m a multimedia engineer and C and C++ developer based in Alicante. I’m interested in the space between an idea and the system that makes it possible: organising its data, connecting its parts and turning it into an experience that works.
Games have been my laboratory. I’ve worked on entity engines, gameplay and assembly projects, and written a guide to help others follow that path from scratch.
Throughout my career, I have developed features, carried out automated testing and resolved product issues. I have also contributed to migrating legacy software to a web platform and taken a project from scratch to production.
I enjoy solving problems creatively, sharing ideas with the team and continuing to learn. I work with version control, task tracking and agile methodologies, paying attention to coordination throughout development.
