1. Who is responsible for your data?
MiniWins is an independent website created and operated in Spain by Laureano Cantó. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to laureanocb33@gmail.com.
This notice explains what MiniWins stores on your device, what is sent to the MiniWins server when you use a leaderboard, and how advertising partners may process data.
2. Data processed by MiniWins
No registration, password, real name, email address, or payment information is required to play. MiniWins processes only the following data for its own features:
- Local preferences: your optional player name, visual theme, layout choice, collapsed information panels, and Neon Fortress cosmetic progress are stored in your browser's local storage.
- Leaderboard submissions: when you choose a player name and complete a supported game, the name, game identifier, score, and game-specific result data (such as level, time, errors, lines, round, or defeated enemies) are sent to the MiniWins server.
- Anti-abuse data: the server processes the requesting IP address to limit repeated score submissions. Entries older than one minute are ignored and are purged when a later score request runs. IP addresses are not stored with leaderboard results.
- Hosting logs: the hosting provider may create technical server logs, which can include the requested URL, timestamp, browser information, and IP address for security and service operation.
Please use a nickname rather than a real name or other identifying information on the public leaderboard.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- Local preferences are saved to provide settings and game progress you request on your device.
- Leaderboard data is processed to publish and maintain the score service requested when a named result is submitted.
- Short-lived IP rate limiting and security logs support the legitimate interest of protecting the service against spam, automated submissions, and attacks.
- Advertising cookies or similar identifiers are used on the basis of consent where applicable. You can refuse personalized advertising in the consent message without losing access to the games.
4. Cookies, local storage, and consent
MiniWins uses local storage for the preferences described above. Local storage remains on your device until you clear site data through your browser. It is not used by MiniWins to follow you across other websites.
Google and its advertising partners may place or read cookies, use web beacons, process IP addresses, or use other identifiers as a result of ad serving. For visitors in the EEA, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, MiniWins uses Google's certified consent platform to present advertising choices before consent-dependent processing.
You can also manage ad personalization through Google Ads Settings and delete cookies or local storage in your browser settings.
5. Google AdSense
MiniWins uses Google AdSense to fund the free games. Depending on your consent and location, Google may provide personalized or non-personalized advertising and may measure ad delivery, prevent fraud, and create aggregated reports.
Read How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services, the Google Privacy Policy, and Google's information about advertising technologies.
6. Other recipients and external services
- Hostinger: website and database hosting, including operational and security logs.
- Google AdSense and Google's consent platform: advertising, consent records, measurement, and fraud prevention.
- Google Fonts: font files requested by your browser when a page loads.
- PayPal: an external voluntary support link on the About page. PayPal receives data only if you choose to follow that link and use its service.
Some providers may process data outside the European Economic Area under the transfer safeguards described in their own privacy documentation.
7. Retention and public visibility
Leaderboard names and best results remain public until they are replaced by a better result for the same nickname or a deletion request is verified and completed. Rate-limit entries stop being used after one minute and are purged on a later score request. Local preferences remain on your device until you clear them. Third-party retention periods are controlled by the relevant provider.
Do not submit sensitive information or another person's identity as a player name.
8. Your data protection rights
Where the GDPR applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or object to processing, as applicable. You may withdraw consent for consent-based processing without affecting prior lawful processing.
To request action on a leaderboard entry, email laureanocb33@gmail.com with the nickname, game, and enough result details to identify the record. Additional information may be requested only when needed to avoid deleting another player's result.
You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD) or your local supervisory authority.
9. Children's privacy
MiniWins is a general-audience games site and is not directed specifically at children. It does not ask for age, contact details, or an account. Children should not use a real name as a leaderboard nickname. A parent or guardian who believes a child has submitted identifying information can request removal using the contact address above.
10. Security and changes
MiniWins uses HTTPS, input validation, rate limiting, restricted database access, and limited data collection. No online service can guarantee absolute security.
This policy may change when site features or providers change. The effective date at the top will be updated when a material revision is published.
